hurriedly
Zhu Ziqing

The swallow has gone, there will be a time to come again; The willow trees have withered, and there will be times when they turn green again; The peach blossoms have withered and will bloom again. But, smart one, tell me, why are our days gone forever—— Someone stole them, right? Who was that? Where is it hiding again? Did they escape on their own? Where have they gone now?
I don't know how many days they gave me, but my hands are gradually becoming empty. Silently counting, more than 8000 days have slipped away from my hands, like a drop of water on a needle tip in the sea. My days drip into the flow of time, without sound or shadow. I couldn't help but feel my head water and tears streaming down my face.
Go wherever you go, come wherever you come, and in the midst of it, how can you rush? When I woke up in the morning, two or three slanting suns shot into the cabin. The sun has its feet, it moved gently and quietly; I also spun around aimlessly. So - when washing hands, days pass by from the basin; When eating, days pass by from the rice bowl; In silence, he passed in front of his solemn eyes. I noticed that he had gone in a hurry, and when he reached out to cover his arm, he passed by the side of his arm. When it was dark, I lay in bed, and he skillfully crossed over me and flew away from my feet. When I open my eyes and say goodbye to the sun, it's like another day has slipped away. I covered my face and sighed. But the shadow of the new days began to flash through the sighs again.
What can I do in the world of thousands of households during the days of fleeing like flying away? Only wandering, only rushing; In the rush of over 8000 days, besides wandering, what else is left? The past days are like light smoke, scattered by the gentle breeze, like thin mist, melted by the first sun; What traces do I leave behind? Have I ever left traces like hairspring? I came into this world naked, and in the blink of an eye, I will also go back naked, right? But it can't be flat, why did you have to go through this experience for nothing?
You're smart, tell me, why are our days gone forever?

Background of Creation
Hasty "was written in March 1922, coinciding with the ebb of the May Fourth Movement. [6] At that time, the intellectual youth of the May Fourth Movement were busy saving the country and pursuing progress; They were oppressed by the political environment at that time, but did not stop pursuing progress; They are distressed and lost, but after calm contemplation, they continue to pursue the path of life. The reality of the decline of the May Fourth Movement disappointed Zhu Ziqing, but the author was not willing to succumb in confusion. Zhu Ziqing persistently explores and pursues from his "neutralism" standpoint. The author believes that "every process in life has its own independent meaning and value - every moment has its own meaning and value! Every moment has its corresponding position in the continuous time." (In Zhu Ziqing's "Letter to Yu Pingbo") Zhu Ziqing relies on spring scenery to stimulate inner emotions and uses imagination to release beauty.
